Introduction
This policy describes how Halalaccounts (“Halalaccounts,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Halalaccounts web application (the “Service”) and the official Halalaccounts Time Tracker browser extension (the “Extension”). By using the Service or Extension, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service or Extension.
What we collect
Account and authentication. When you sign in (including with email or third-party sign-in, where available), we process identity and account data needed to provide the Service.
Business and product data you enter or connect. This includes time entries, clients, projects, financial or operational data, and other content you submit, import, or sync through the Service, based on your plan and features.
Extension-specific data. The Extension may store settings and session data locally in your browser (e.g. API URL, access tokens, selected business, timer state, and integration-related preferences) so the Extension can work offline from the active browser session. It may communicate with our API over HTTPS to perform time-tracking and related features you request.
Optional site integrations. If you enable integrations (for example, with third-party tools such as product-management sites), the Extension or Service may process URLs or data needed for those features, subject to the permissions and settings you use.
Technical data. We may process IP address, device/browser type, cookies or similar technologies, and diagnostic or security logs, as part of operating and protecting the Service.
How we use information
We use the information above to provide, secure, and improve the Service and Extension, including authentication, time tracking, reporting, support, and compliance with law.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with service providers (hosting, email, payments, analytics, security) who process it on our instructions, or when required by law, or to protect rights and safety.
Data retention and security
We retain information for as long as your account is active and as needed for legitimate business, legal, or security purposes. We use industry-standard safeguards, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain processing. Contact us at the address below. You may also uninstall the Extension and clear its site data in your browser at any time.
Children
The Service and Extension are not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information as defined by applicable law.
Changes
We may update this policy. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
